Ballard School in New Milton celebrated its 21st birthday with a special ‘street party’ on 18 June. Attended by parents and people from across the community, it gave everyone the opportunity to meet with pupils, talk with staff and explore the school’s facilities.
A free picnic lunch with live music and entertainment by the students was provided to mark the milestone.
Headmaster of Ballard School, Alastair Reid said, “At Ballard, we wanted to do something extra special to thank the community for all their ongoing support. We were, therefore, delighted to be able to offer local people, alongside parents, staff, and students with the opportunity to celebrate our 21st birthday. Following a highly successful and popular street party picnic, I would like to personally thank everyone who attended and all the students for providing us with some first class entertainment.’’
Situated on the edge of the New Forest National Park, Ballard School offers all round education from nursery ages through to GCSEs. For more information visit www.ballardschool.co.uk.
