A congratulatory crowd turned out at Bournemouth Pier last month to welcome two brothers back from their Barcelona to Bournemouth charity ride.
Paul and James Heaton cycled 1,248 mile in 12 days and have so far raised £4,600 which will be split between three charities, the Bournemouth Hospital Charity, Brain Tumour Research, and the RAF Benevolent Fund.
Paul said: ‘We completed 1,248 miles in 12 days with mountains, strong head winds and plenty of rain to deal with. The support we have received from family, friends and even complete strangers has been outstanding.
“We couldn’t have done it without them all. We are so proud to raise funds and awareness for our three charities’ they are great causes all close to our hearts.”
