The Barnabas day opportunities service, run by Dorset’s disability charity Diverse Abilities, is holding its Easter Fete this Saturday (28 March) between 11am – 2pm and is inviting the local community to come along and join in the fun.
The fete will have everything from a BBQ and raffle to face painting for the kids! There will be family games, craft stalls and cake sales with refreshments available.
Barnabas is one of several services offered by Diverse Abilities. The service is open five days a week and offers a lively and sociable hub for adults to access a range of opportunities, make new friends and learn new skills. The aim of the service is to enable those living with a disability to get the most out of life, by undertaking a range of activities throughout the day.
Chelsey Mills, deputy manager at Barnabas, said: “Bring all the family along to this fun-filled event and get involved with many activities taking place. All funds raised will be supporting Barnabas and the adults we support.”
The fete is being held at Barnabas, located at 13-15 Manor Avenue in Poole. Tickets are not required for the event so one and all can go along, have fun and raise lots of money for Diverse Abilities.
