Beach huts available from BCP Council
Bookings are being taken for beach huts from Sandbanks to Southbourne, with some available for just one week.

The weather is gradually warming up, so now is the time to book a beach hut for the coming year as they are available on the stretch of coastline from Sandbanks to Southbourne.
Beachgoers can now book a short-term beach hut online for as little as one week, instead of the previous four-week minimum. Also, customers will have longer to enjoy their hut as bookings finish and keys are returned by 5pm on the last day of their booking.
The one-week hires are available at beaches in Bournemouth and Poole for the first time in five years. Beach hut users will now have even greater flexibility when hiring a hut for short-term use – with the ability to book multiple huts for various durations.
All the prices can be viewed on BCP Council’s online booking system.
Customers without internet access will still be able to call the Resort Information Team and book by phone.
People can now also take advantage of same day bookings – these will be offered as walk-ins on a first come, first served basis in selected locations and will not be bookable online. You can only hire a daily hut in person at the Tourist Information Centre at Bournemouth Pier Approach.
Cllr Richard Herrett, portfolio holder for Destination, Leisure and Commercial Operations, said: “I am delighted that beach hut bookings for the upcoming season are once again open – and it couldn’t come at a better time with TripAdvisor recently declaring Bournemouth beach as 12th best in the world.”
