The funeral of Edward, Lord Montagu will take place on Thursday 10 September, when the Beaulieu attraction will be closed all day as a mark of respect.
Members of the public will be welcome to pay their respects at the funeral of Edward, Lord Montagu. The funeral will take place in Beaulieu Abbey church at 3pm. The funeral hearse will pass through the village of Beaulieu, leaving Palace House at approximately 2.40pm.
Places in the Abbey Church will be limited to the family and friends of the late Lord Montagu, with an audio relay for other attendees in the Cloister.
The late Lord Montagu requested that, instead of flowers, donations be made to the National Motor Museum Trust and the Countryside Education Trust. All donations received will be split equally between these two charities. A book of condolence will be open in the museum for guests to leave messages for the Montagu family.
Members of the public attending the funeral will be welcome to park in the Beaulieu visitor attraction car park.
