Become a volunteer telephone adviser for Citizens Advice
Telephone advisers working from home, or in office in the future, are needed for the East Dorset and Purbeck service.
For many people the easing of lockdown restrictions means a new beginning and if for you that means becoming a volunteer, Citizens Advice would like to hear from you.
Citizens Advice in East Dorset and Purbeck, an independent charity, is looking for telephone advisers for its East Dorset and Purbeck service.
Based either working from home or when restrictions allow, working from the office in Wimborne or Wareham, the telephone advisers will provide advice on a range of different subject areas. Full training and support will be given.
Mandi Douglas, advice quality and training manager, said: “Our telephone advisers are invaluable to us delivering our service to local residents. Since the first lockdown, the demand for our service is ever increasing and we need to be able to provide a level of service which can match this demand.
“No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn as full training will be given. Once training is complete, we do ask that people can commit to a minimum of eight hours a week.”
There is a volunteer induction day on 28 April. For more information about this and other volunteering opportunities visit www.edpcitizensadvice.org.uk or email mandid@eastdorsetcab.org.uk.
