Bedtime stories for Pamphill First School pupils
In a Christmas atmosphere, children were able to enjoy stories read to them by teachers whilst enjoying hot chocolate and treats.
Children at Pamphill First School have enjoyed a magical Christmas treat.
After the regular school day, pupils came back to school on a blustery, dark evening and were treated to festive bedtime stories as the Christmas lights twinkled on the classroom trees.
They snuggled up in their classrooms in their pyjamas and blankets, while their teachers read to them.
The children also enjoyed some hot chocolate and treats provided by the school’s Parents’ Association.
Sharon Staddon, executive headteacher at Pamphill First School, which is part of Initio Learning Trust, said: “The children had a fantastic evening, and it was wonderful to see them entering into the Christmas spirit.
“The stormy weather outside added to the atmosphere of the evening and the pupils thoroughly enjoyed this special event.
“My thanks to all the staff and members of the Parents’ Association for their help and support and making the evening such a great success.”
