Beer festival in Blandford
The Dorset Beer Festival will make its return in Blandford this June, where it will raise money for Dorset Mind.
Blandford’s annual Hall & Woodhouse Dorset Beer Festival is set to return this June after a two-year break due to the pandemic.
This year will be the eighth event of its kind, and it will take place on 25 June. As well as showcasing Badger, 50 different beers and ciders from a range of other local and out-of-county breweries will be available on the day in a celebration of celebrate local craft breweries and cider makers. These will include local breweries 8 Arch Brewing Co, Remedy Oak, Wild Beer, Palmers and Cranborne Chase Cider. Breweries from further afield include Timothy Taylor, SA Brain and Exmoor Ales. All profit made will be donated to Dorset Mind.
There will also be able to enjoy a host of live music, entertainment, and food offerings.
Since launching in 2013, the festival has raised more than £51,000 for local charities including the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, Macmillan Cancer Support, Blandford Opportunity Group, Alzheimer’s Society, Teddy20 and Together for Short Lives.
Tickets are available to buy online for £10 per person at www.hallwoodhousebeerfest.com. This price includes entry, a beer glass, programme and four tokens and these can be exchanged for one pint or two half pints. Tickets will be available to purchase on the gate subject to availability. Last entry to the festival is 8pm.
