Book of Condolence available at Ringwood Gateway
Residents in the Ringwood area are invited to write messages in a Book of Condolences at Ringwood Gateway.
Ringwood Town Council has joined other authorities across the region in providing a Book of Condolence following the death of The Queen.
Councillors and staff at the Council say they are deeply saddened and they offer their heartfelt condolences to King Charles III and the Royal family, during this time of immense sadness.
A spokesperson from the council said: “We are awaiting official details to be released about marking the national mourning and will update the website and social media.”
The Book of Condolence has been opened at Ringwood Gateway. People are invited to leave a message of sympathy to the Royal Family or to share their memories of Queen Elizabeth II. An online Book of Condolence is also available at royal.uk/send-message-condolence
Ringwood Gateway will be open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm (Tuesdays for Book of Condolence only).
The Mayor, Cllr Gareth Deboos has placed some flowers at the War Memorial and he respectfully encourages any floral tributes to be laid there.
