Bournemouth Chamber looks forward to promising year
Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce is optimistic about the coming year as it elects its executive team.
Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce has elected its executive team for the coming year.
Bill Perkins is to continue as president for another term, while Matt Maclean was officially elected as vice-president at the organisation’s AGM.
They were elected along with other board members at the AGM before the Chamber’s annual President’s Dinner at the Cumberland Hotel on Bournemouth’s East Cliff.
Bill said: “I am honoured to continue serving as President of the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
“Together with our dedicated team of officers and directors, we will work tirelessly to support and promote the interests of our local business community.
“It was an incredibly positive AGM following by a superb President’s Dinner which set the tone perfectly for a promising year ahead.”
Also at the AGM, Tina Worthing was appointed as a director.
Bill said: “While these changes at the AGM mark significant milestones for the Chamber, it’s important to note that all other officers will remain in their respective roles, ensuring continuity and stability in the Chamber’s operations.”
Continuing in their roles were Roger Smith as past president, Julia Young and Simone Ippolito as directors, Kate Neal as business development executive and Lorraine Exley as secretary.
Guests included Dorset Chamber chief executive Ian Girling and Dorset Chamber president Tony Brown.
The Chamber’s next networking events are Lunch & Learn on 11 April, BH Banter on 17 April and BH Breakfast on 8 May.
