Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following the death of a man.
At 1.19am today (Thursday 29 January), Dorset Police was informed that a man, believed to be local and in his forties, had been found with serious head injuries at an address on Cavendish Road.
Officers and the ambulance service attended but sadly the man died at the scene. The next of kin have been informed.
Forensic teams are at the scene to investigate the circumstances of his death as it is not clear at this time how he came to sustain his injuries.
