Bournemouth drug dealer sent to jail
Craig Abbott from Liverpool was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and mobile phones linked to sale of drugs.
A Liverpool drug dealer, who was apprehended at an address in Bournemouth, has been sentenced to four years and one month in prison.
At around 7.55am on Tuesday 17 June 2025, officers executed a warrant at an address in Christchurch Road.
Once inside the address, they spotted 42-year-old Craig Abbott put his hand into his right pocket.
On a table inside the property, there was drug paraphernalia, including empty clingfilm wraps and crack pipes.
Abbott was searched and found to be in possession of crack cocaine and heroin that was ready to be sold.
Mobile phones were seized from the address, which linked Abbott to the sale of drugs in Bournemouth.
Abbott pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply and was sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday 24 October 2025.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Ash White, of Bournemouth East police, said: “We remain absolutely committed to tackling drug dealing in our communities.
“There is no place for drugs in Dorset and we will do all we can to root out offenders such as Abbott and ensure they are held to account.
“We would continue to urge the public to report any information they may have on suspected drug-related activity in their area so we can build up an intelligence picture of what is occurring and take robust action.
“Anyone with information can report it to us at www.dorset.police.uk or call 101. If a crime is in progress, always dial 999.”
