A popular fixture in Bournemouth’s event calendar, free Friday fireworks, will return for five consecutive weeks during the summer holidays, kicking off with a special launch night on 29 July.
Thanks to sponsorship from Bournemouth Accommodation and Hotel Association (BAHA), the launch will feature live entertainment throughout the Lower Gardens, including a fire show, circus workshop, stilt walkers, face painting and Boscombe Salvation Army playing in the Bandstand. The entertainment is free and starts from 7pm. The fireworks begin at 10pm.
BAHA Chair, Andrew Woodland, said: “BAHA are very pleased to be able to contribute towards Bournemouth’s Friday Fireworks and, in particular, the family entertainment which is running alongside the fireworks on 29 July. This helps to ensure that we continue to attract families to a wide range of events, attractions and accommodation and in doing so, sets Bournemouth ahead of all the other South Coast resorts.”
The dates for Friday Fireworks are: 29 July, 5 August, 12 August, 19 August, and 26 August.
All displays begin at 10pm from Bournemouth Pier.
