The hotel is a unique holiday retreat for people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.They have recently been awarded the HotelsCombined.co.uk “Stellar Stays” Award, officially recognising their efforts.
The prestigious accolade combines the opinions of customers from all major booking websites, with feedback gathered from social media. Having matched all the criteria, obtaining 107 impressive reviews and an outstanding overall score of 9.96/10, The Grove Hotel has been officially recognised as one of the top hotels in Dorset.
The Grove Hotel strives to provide a holiday for those who need it most, allowing them to take their mind off the natural stresses which illnesses can bring. Specially equipped to meet the needs of those with life-threatening illnesses and their accompanying guests, a number of bedrooms have electric recliner beds and emergency cords, also bathrooms and showers that have stools and handrails, and there is full wheelchair access. The hotel is funded and managed by Macmillan Caring Locally, a registered charity, and is run by a team of loyal and long-serving staff, with nurses on emergency call 24 hours a day.
