Bournemouth & Poole College adds new courses
Whether you would like a change of job in 2022 or would like to take up a new hobby, there is a course for you at Bournemouth & Poole College.
If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to find a new career path or a new hobby you might be tempted to embark on an adult learning course.
As part of its ‘New Year, Fresh Start’ campaign Bournemouth & Poole College is introducing a wide range of both free and cost-effective courses for adults of all ages.
Matthew Butcher, commercial director at Bournemouth & Poole College, said: “The New Year brings with it a period of reflection for many people, and we are proud to offer such a wide variety of courses that may help people reach their 2022 goals. We continually strive to deliver high-quality education to all our students and hope that this will help bring fulfilment to many people within our local community.”
The College is offering free courses taught in-house to adults, where previously all free classes were exclusively taught online. These new courses are in Coding Practices, Bookkeeping, Marine Electrical, Cyber Security and Welding. For anyone who doesn’t already have an equivalent qualification, they are a great way for learners to boost their CV at no extra cost.
Two new free online courses are also available in LGBT Inclusion in the Workplace and Understanding Climate Change and Environmental Awareness, to add to the 30 courses already offered.
The College also offers a wide variety of affordable courses in various sectors such as accounting, computing, management, electrical, sport, education and social care, hairdressing and beauty, for adults striving to follow career-based goals, climb the ladder or change career direction.
New hobby courses include Creative Photography & Portfolio Development, Performing Arts, DIY and a Saturday Morning Pottery Club, alongside a selection of cookery classes.
Matthew Butcher added: “The College caters to people of all ages with the courses we have on offer. It’s important to us that we continue to add new courses to our line-up that appeal to people in all different stages of their lives and circumstances, to bring accessible and affordable education for all, whatever career goals they wish to achieve.”
All adult courses at The College are now open for enrolment, with start dates from January 2022 onwards.
