Bournemouth’s biggest Christmas tree is a dazzling sight in Boscombe
A dazzlingly festive 40-foot tree with 6,000 twinkling lights arrived in Boscombe last week and is the largest Christmas tree to be found in Bournemouth.
Boscombe’s business community has come together with the support of Bournemouth Coastal Business Improvement District (BID) to bring a ginormous Christmas tree to Boscombe town centre.
Located in the precinct next to the genuine Hungarian Folklore Market, the dazzling artificial tree is set to wow visitors in the final run-up to the Christmas festivities. Measuring at an astounding 12 metres (40 ft) and holding six thousand twinkling lights, the tree is the largest Christmas tree to be found in Bournemouth.
Stefan Krause, Bournemouth Coastal BID Manager, said, “Boscombe’s Christmas tree is a breathtaking sight to see. There is no other Christmas tree like it locally and we hope that all residents and visitors to the town will enjoy this giant festive symbol. Visiting the tree is a ‘must do’ for all major fans of Christmas – you won’t be disappointed!”
