Poole residents can now enjoy a revamped Branksome Park tennis facility following recent improvement works which include new fencing, resurfaced pathways, a modernised pavilion and ramped access.
Set in Branksome Park Woods, five tennis courts provide an ideal venue for people of all abilities to enjoy the game. New tenant, Aaron Russell will take the lease over and provide coaching on site with a range of courses for all abilities. Aaron brings 10 years coaching experience from a variety of clubs and establishments across the region.
The courts will use the same booking and key fob system that is operated successfully at Poole Park.
Councillor Mohan Iyengar, Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, Borough of Poole, said: “I’m pleased to see the courts at Branksome Park back up to a great standard. It’s part of our longer term effort to give people in the Borough ways to exercise enjoyably at low cost and at the times they prefer.”
