Burglary and attempted burglary in Poole
If you witnessed any of these events or if you have any dashcam footage Dorset Police would like to hear from you.
Dorset Police are seeking information following incidents in Poole which appear to be linked.
At around 10pm on Friday 1 October a burglary occurred at an address in Livingstone Road where a set of keys and a car were stolen.
In the early hours of Saturday 2 October it was reported that three people attempted to gain entry to the property, but this was unsuccessful as they were disturbed by the occupant.
The stolen car was located on Monday 4 October and recovered in Kelly Close.
At around 10.10pm on Friday 1 October it was reported that an attempt was made to enter a property in Ebor Road, but they were disturbed by a resident. Nothing was stolen and no damage was caused.
The victim reported seeing a vehicle – which matches the description of the one stolen in the Livingstone Road incident – in the area at the time.
Police Constable Liam Moss, of Dorset Police’s Priority Crime Team, said: “An investigation is underway into both of these incidents and officers have been carrying out enquiries in the area, including house-to-house visits.
“I would urge anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity in the vicinity of the incidents to please contact Dorset Police.
“I am particularly keen to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on either home CCTV systems or dashcams.”
