Little Thomas Balch is such a bus enthusiast that when he visited Bournemouth with his mum and dad he wanted to see the local bus depot.
The youngster from Swindon is just two and when dad Richard contacted Yellow Buses they offered to show the little boy around.
Despite the heavy rain Thomas was delighted as he toured the depot proudly wearing a hi-vis jacket.
Mum Kelly looked on as Thomas and his dad Richard– also a bus fan – climbed on a number of vehicles.
Gareth Edwards, Yellows’ Customer Services Manager, explained about the buses to the youngster and showed him one of the brand new double-deckers.
He said: “It was a pleasure to have Thomas with us and show him around the depot.”
Richard added: “He really loves buses and has learned the numbers of some of them near us.
“We come to Bournemouth quite frequently for holidays and with Thomas being so keen on buses we contacted the local company. The Yellows were great and invited us along and let Thomas climb on the buses and sit in the drivers’ seats.”
