The Cherries will mark their soon to be confirmed Premier League status on Monday 3 May by showing appreciation for the support the town has shown Eddie Howe’s squad.
Parades to celebrate promotions from Leagues One and Two in recent years have seen thousands of fans take to the streets and turn the route into a sea of red and black.
The route and times for checkpoints on the journey will be confirmed on the club website later this week.
“Eddie, Jason, the players and myself have gone on record numerous times to thank the fans for their support,” chairman Jeff Mostyn told afcb.co.uk.
“The backing we have received home and away has been truly incredible and the fans have played their part in an unforgettable season.
“It is only fitting that the coaches and players get the opportunity to show their appreciation and we are looking forward to celebrating an incredible achievement with thousands and thousands of supporters.”
“We are delighted to be able to support and facilitate AFC Bournemouth’s promotion parade,” chief executive of Bournemouth Council Tony Williams added.
“This is a great and truly fitting way to recognise the club’s monumental achievements and a day for supporters to come together, celebrate, enjoy the atmosphere and share in the success.”
