Business survey to reduce litter in Dorset
The Big Dorset Business Survey is being run online and local businesses are being urged by Litter Free Dorset to take part.
Local businesses are being urged to take part in the Big Dorset Business Survey which runs until 10 February.
Organised by Litter Free Dorset, the aim is to lessen the impact of businesses on the environment, to cut their carbon footprint and to reduce their waste output.
The survey which can be accessed on https://www.dorsetcoasthaveyoursay.co.uk/lfd-dorset-business-survey takes only a few minutes to complete.
A spokesman from Litter Free Dorset said: “Responses will enable us to get the real picture of what is happening with waste, recycling, packaging, and more, so we can support them more in the future.
“We know many Dorset businesses are already doing an amazing job in making their operations as sustainable as possible, but we can all do better. So we’re asking every business to take the time – just 10 minutes– to complete the survey and give us a detailed picture of what is happening now, and what we can do to improve. After all, the more data we can gather, the more we will be able to support businesses so we can all do better for Dorset.”
The organisation is hoping that not only will councils, chambers, BIDs and community groups take part, but also they will share the link with local businesses.
It has also teamed up with The Embroidery Barn to offer a prize draw. Every business that completes the survey and submits their details will be entered into the draw to win a set of 10 custom embroidered or printed organic cotton t-shirts for their business.
