Care home workers to skydive for Dorset hospice
Lewis-Manning Hospice Care will benefit when Stephanie, Angela and Jane take part in a skydive at Old Sarum in Salisbury on 14 June.

Three intrepid care home workers from Kings Park Care Home in Ferndown are stepping out of their comfort zone to skydive on Saturday 14 June to raise funds for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care.
This local charity holds a special place in the hearts of both staff and residents due to the exceptional, free care they provide to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses in the Dorset area. Many members of the team, residents and community at Kings Park have personal connections to the cause, whether through their own experiences or a loved one’s diagnosis, loss or supporting others through bereavement.
Taking place at Old Sarum in Salisbury, the team made up of Home Services Advisor Jane Shanahan, Community Care Lead Stephanie Reed and Activities Lead Angela Cawsey will all be diving through the clouds aiming to raise £1,500 to help Lewis-Manning Hospice Care continue to support members of the community and their loved ones in their hour of need.
Kings Park General Manager Jenna May said: “We are all so proud of our brave colleagues who are determined to raise as much money as they can for our brilliant friends at Lewis-Manning Hospice Care. We think Stephanie, Angela and Jane are all crazy but we’re also in awe of their amazing courage. Everyone here at Kings Park is 100 per cent behind them, supporting them all the way.”
