Braeside Bowling Club offers year-round bowling on its artificial surface – or ‘magic carpet’.
Based at St Leonard’s, near Ringwood, the club is sponsored by Lester Brunt Wealth Management, is opening its doors to everyone who fancies a free bowling session or who just wants to drop in a take a look at the club facilities and the newly restored artificial carpet.
The open days will be on 20 and 24 April from 10am to 4pm. There will be free bowling sessions as well as refreshments. To register your interest all you have to do is call 01425 474855 or 01202 476754 to let them know you are coming along.
Said President John Tomes , “We are a friendly club and welcoming club and if you haven’t ever bowled before then come and give it a go, we cater for all levels of bowling abilities. We have qualified and experienced coaches always on hand to help develop your bowling skills and we even have bowling balls, shoes and jackets if you fancy a free trial or if you are unsure and aren’t ready to purchase the kit. The ladies and men’s teams compete in the Bournemouth and District and New Forest Bowling Association leagues as well as many competitions.
Braeside has plenty to offer, a spacious and comfortable clubhouse which has air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen and a competitively-priced licensed bar.”
