A woman entered the Cooperative Food store on Smugglers Lane, Wimborne at around 7.30pm on Saturday 25 July and stole nine bottles of wine.
She went to the refrigerated wine display and placed the items in a large leather-style handbag and a Waitrose bag then left without making any attempt to pay.
Police Constable Adam Aggas, of East Dorset police, said: “I am keen to trace the woman in this CCTV image.
“I am appealing to anyone who recognises her to please call me on 101.
“All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”
