Police officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after an assault in the Rising Sun Inn on East Street, Wimborne.
The incident happened on Friday, 16 January between 10pm-10.30pm when a 50-year-old female member of staff was attacked by a man.
A group of five men had entered the pub at approximately 10pm. They were reportedly asked to leave on a number of occasions by the licensees due to loud and aggressive behaviour.
The offender refused to leave and pushed the victim into a brick pillar. No injuries were sustained. A customer and the pub’s doorman are said to have intervened before the five men left the premises.
Police Constable Bill Nightingall, of Ferndown police, said: “This kind of behaviour is entirely unacceptable.
“I would urge anyone who recognises the man pictured in the CCTV image to contact me, in confidence, on 101.
“I would also like to speak to any witnesses or people with information relevant to this incident.”
No arrests have been made.
