CCTV appeal following alleged assault in Poole
Detectives from Dorset Police who are investigating an alleged assault in Poole are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
The assault incident outside Munchies in the High Street, Poole was reported to police at 2.19am on Saturday 26 August 2017. One man has so far been arrested.
Officers attended and a 22-year-old Poole man was taken to hospital with a serious head injury.
Detective Sergeant Andy Haworth, of Bournemouth CID, said, “Following initial inquiries I am now in a position to release CCTV images of a number of people we would like to speak with in relation to this incident as they may have information that can assist in our investigation.
“Anyone who witnessed the alleged assault, or who recognises the people pictured should contact us as soon as possible.”
A 19-year-old man from Ferndown has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is helping officers with their enquiries.
