CCTV appeal following assault in Bournemouth
Dorset Police are appealing for help in finding a man who assaulted a member of staff at a Bournemouth restaurant.
If you saw the incident at the Urban Garden restaurant and bar, Dorset Police are asking you to come forward.
The incident occurred at around 9.10pm on Saturday 8 May when three men were refused entry to the restaurant and bar on Exeter Crescent as it was fully booked. It is reported that one of the men then picked up a glass picture frame from a nearby table and hit a member of staff in the face with it.
The victim sustained a number of cuts to his face, ear and head and attended hospital for treatment.
Police Constable David Sweeting, of Dorset Police, said: “I have been carrying out a number of enquiries into this assault to try and identify the man responsible.
“I would urge anyone with information about his identity to please get in touch.”
