Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Bournemouth – with CCTV images of the suspects being released.
The incident occurred between 6am and 6.50am on Sunday 30 October outside the Xchange bar in The Triangle in the town.
A man arrived at the front entrance of the bar and knocked on the door to try and gain access as it was locked.
The victim was approached by three men. He began to move out of the entrance after threats were made toward him by one of the suspects.
One of the suspects grabbed the victim on his right arm for approximately 20 seconds demanding him to hand over his possessions before the victim came free and fled the scene to Tesco Express in The Triangle.
Detective Constable Scott Brimicombe, of Bournemouth CID, said: “This was a frightening incident for the victim.
“As part of my investigation I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of the suspects. I am appealing to anyone who recognises the men pictured to please contact me urgently.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who saw three men at the relevant time in the area of the Xchange bar.”
No arrests have been made.
