CCTV appeal following sexual assault in Bournemouth
Officers investigating a sexual assault in Bournemouth are releasing a CCTV image of the suspect.
The victim, a woman aged in her 20s, was at the bus stop outside the Richmond Park Arms in Charminster Road at around 6.30pm on Tuesday 22 August when she was approached by an unknown man.
He stroked her hair and touched her inappropriately.
The victim’s bus arrived and she got on it. The man got on the same bus briefly and spoke to the driver before getting off and sitting down at the bus stop.
The man is described as being of Turkish or Greek appearance with tanned olive skin and messy dark, greying hair. He was said to be around five feet eight inches tall and was wearing baggy trousers and a jumper.
Police Constable Matthew Fayers, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of our ongoing investigations into this incident, I am now in a position to release a CCTV image of the suspect.
“I would urge anyone who recognises this man, or who has any further information about this incident to contact me.”
