This year Poole Museum is celebrating the festive season at Scaplen’s Court with a free Tudor-themed Christmas experience on 7 December.
This special late night opening is a great opportunity to view the atmospheric Scaplen’s Court Museum. Come and enjoy a mince pie, some cider based wassail – a traditional Tudor Christmas drink, in this unique historic setting.
As well as carol-singing from a local choir there will be a range of free activities on offer guaranteed to put the family into the festive spirit. Decorate a Yule log or design and make decorations to take home for the tree. All materials are provided, just go along on the night but arrive early to avoid disappointment. All of this will be happening as part of the ‘Christmas on the Quay’ event on 7 December. Activities will run from 3.30-6pm and the building will close at 6.30pm.
