Charities focusing on creativity join forces
Two local charities focusing on creativity as a means of supporting health and wellbeing have joined forces.
Coda Music Trust and hArt (Hampshire Art for Recreation and Therapy) have decided to pool their resources and work together in a new partnership. They will be based and working together at Coda’s centre in Walkford, Christchurch.
Phil Hallett, Coda’s CEO, will lead both charities from September. He said: “Our creative arts and music services are a lifeline for many, including some of the most vulnerable people in our community, and have played a vital part in our response to the pandemic. Our two charities are delighted to be working together and our new partnership is both a natural extension of our existing services and will enable us to increase our capacity to work with local people.
For more information about either charity, or to get involved in their activities across BCP and the New Forest, you can visit their websites at www.coda.org.uk and www.hart.works.”
