The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation has just received a generous donation of £1258.50. The charity was chosen by Greendale Construction Limited as one of the recipients to benefit from the annual charity raffle at last year’s Christmas party.
The raffle and auction offered some fabulous prizes and lucky winners walked away with luxury hampers, champagne, gym membership and dinner, bed and breakfast at the Norfolk Royale Hotel. Prizes were kindly donated by many of Greendale’s business partners and an Apple Ipad, donated by Greendale for the auction raised over £400 alone.
Linda Thornton, secretary of the JTYAF said, “This is a fantastic start to the New Year and will make a real difference to the opportunities that can be provided for local young people in 2014.”
