The Heatherlands Youth Club raised an amazing £150.29 for Children in Need at the local community centre recently.
Talented youngsters performed in front of residents and VIP guests. There were 13 acts all together. The panel of judges were Cllr Julie Robinson, chairman of EDDC
Cllr Malcom Birr, community leader John Hanrahan and Kelly Hunter community officer from Synergy Housing.
John Hanrahan said ” What a lovely surprise it was to see so many talented children and young people take part in the competition and for a great cause.”
The winner of the Heatherlands Talent Show 2013 was local girl Kimberly Melbourne who said, “Wow, I can’t believe it.”
