Christchurch Housing Society celebrates local resident
Cynthia Moss has recently retired after 50 years of dedicated service with the housing society.
Christchurch Housing Society is celebrating the contributions of one of its board of directors who has recently retired.
The society is a long-established charitable organisation based in Dorset, providing affordable housing and care for older people aged 60 and over. Founded in 1946, it operates across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.
Cynthia Moss has dedicated 50 years of her life to the service. Her career spans half a century of care, loyalty and deep personal connection to the housing society and the Christchurch community.
Moss was raised around the Homelands Estate in Kings Avenue, Christchurch. The society says that, throughout her career, Moss was known for her unwavering dedication to residents, her wealth of knowledge, and her genuine care for the people and communities served by the society, as well as her street party planning skills.
The society added that Moss’s work has left a lasting impact on board members, colleagues and residents alike, helping to shape Christchurch Housing Society into the organisation it is today.
As she retires from the board of directors, Christchurch Housing Society extends its heartfelt thanks to Cynthia Moss for her service and commitment. A bench has been set at the Homelands Estate so that her dedication is never forgotten.
The society says that her legacy will continue to be felt across Homelands Estate and beyond, and she leaves with the gratitude, admiration and best wishes of everyone connected to both the society and the wider community.
