This Christmas, bookings to see Santa in his winter wonderland increased by over 1000 at the Stewarts Garden Centres at Christchurch and Broomhill near Wimborne, now a record and the donation to Marie Curie will exceed £3500 from the sale of the special “I’ve Seen Santa’s Real Reindeer” badges.
Terry Head, head of retail and marketing at the popular family-owned Stewarts, said that he was delighted that the hard work to prepare the Christmas displays and stock proved worth the extra effort: “It was a great team effort with the determination to make the seasonal events feel joyous to our customers. We also thank our visitors for their generosity to our Marie Curie fundraising.”
The award-winning Stewarts Garden Centres is a long-established family-owned business that still keeps its roots secured deep in horticulture. A large percentage (25%) of the plants sold by the centres are cultivated at their nursery based at Broomhill. Other garden centres are also supplied by the growers that were established in 1742.
