The annual Haskins Garden Centre’s Christmas Kids’ Evening at Ferndown raised over £455.88 for the Alzheimer’s Society. Over 110 children visited Santa in his grotto and enjoyed activities including face painting, storytelling, competitions a charity raffle whilst tasty food and drink tasting demos were held. Special seasonal meals were also served by the restaurant.
Matt Hill, general manager of the centre, said that the staff had worked hard to prepare for the successful evening and wore fancy dress.
“The team still manage to find time during a very busy period in our Christmas department to put on a great evening for visitors both young and old,” said Matt. “We thank everyone, both customers and staff, who supported the popular charity event and hope they have a great Christmas.”
