Christmas Market returns to Wimborne

The festive spirit will be alive in Wimborne on Saturday 29 November with the Christmas Market running from 11am to 6pm in the High Street Car Park and parts of the main high street just off the Square.

Fully funded by Wimborne BID and organised and managed by Dorset-based Stir Events, the market will feature a host of tempting stalls offering festive gifts and seasonal fare. Visitors can look forward to a merry mix of mulled wine, sizzling bratwurst sausages, and a treasure trove of artisan gifts, local produce, and festive treats.

The market is timed to coincide with Wimborne’s annual Christmas Lights Switch-On, which takes place at 5pm.

Fiona Pawsey, Chair of Wimborne BID, said: “Wimborne BID is delighted to fund the Christmas Market, helping to add even more magic to Wimborne’s famous Christmas Lights Switch-On celebrations. Grab your festive jumper or Christmas hat, grab a cup of mulled wine and join in the fun.”
