Christmas Tree Festival at Highcliffe Castle
A festive story trail and a new art exhibition are amongst the attractions at this event which runs from 5 to 23 December.
The listed heritage site Highcliffe Castle is to be transformed into a festive wonderland for its Christmas Tree Festival, which runs from 5 to 23 December.
The trees have been contributed by local businesses, charities, and individuals.
Younger guests will be invited to follow a festive story trail, weaving through the glittering trees to create a delightful experience for families. Admission also includes entry to the castle itself and the new art exhibition presented by the Hengist Group of Artists, making this year’s festival a truly multi-layered celebration of community, creativity, and Christmas spirit.
This year, Highcliffe Castle is supporting local food banks. Guests are encouraged to bring an item for the ‘A Gift at Christmas’ tree. Suggested donations include tinned goods, biscuits, staple foods, and toiletries. In return, visitors will receive a voucher for 10 per cent off purchases in the castle’s shop on the day of their visit.
Alex Dixon, business development manager, said: “The team have worked incredibly hard in the lead-up to this event, and we can’t wait to see the festival come together. This event would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers and staff, and we look forward to welcoming you all to Highcliffe Castle this December.”
Cllr Richard Herrett, portfolio holder for Destination, Leisure & Commercial Operations, said: “The Christmas Tree Festival at Highcliffe Castle is successfully back for another year, and it’s wonderful to see local businesses, charities, and residents come together to create something so magical.
“Events like this not only celebrate the festive season but also strengthen community spirit and support those in need. Thank you to Highcliffe Castle for continuing to bring joy to our visitors and for inspiring kindness through such meaningful incentives.
“I encourage everyone to visit and experience the joy this festival brings.”
