Cooperative Funeralcare has moved location.
To mark the opening of its new branch in Ferndown a ceremonial event with a balloon release was held for the community. The new location in Penny’s Walk replaces the original office on Victoria Road.
A former mayor of Ferndown, Mick Arnold MBE cut the ribbon alongide Shaun Flynn, President of the Ferndown Chamber of Commerce.
Mick said: ‘It’s a much bigger place, and Cooperative Funeralcare is well known for its sympathetic dealings with the bereaved families, so I think it will do well.”
Charlie Loveday will be working at the new branch and believes it will be a “peaceful and tranquil place to come and sit and spend time with loved ones.” She added: “This is a spacious new branch and a nice place to work.”
