Corfe Hills School joins Initio Learning Trust
The school in Broadstone joins Initio Learning Trust which is now responsible for 18 schools in the South West.
Corfe Hills School in Broadstone has become part of Initio Learning Trust.
The Trust is now responsible for 18 schools, including Allenbourn Middle School in Wimborne, Emmanuel Middle School in Verwood, Lockyer’s Middle School in Corfe Mullen, St Michael’s Middle School in Colehill, Queen Elizabeth’s School in Wimborne and Sir John Colfox in Bridport.
James Sankey, headteacher at Corfe Hills School, said: “We are excited to be joining Initio Learning Trust as we continue to deliver a broad, engaging and knowledge-rich curriculum for our students, ensuring they can become exceptional individuals.
“We will be embracing the opportunities that this wider collaboration with the trust and other schools in the local area brings to our school community, while maintaining our uniqueness as a school.”
Liz West, chief executive Officer of Initio Learning Trust, said: “Corfe Hills joins Initio at a time of growth and will be working closely with the other schools in our trust, whilst being supported by an experienced team.
“We know that the school has high expectations of its students, and we look forward to building on this firm foundation to offer educational excellence and outstanding opportunities.”
