Poole Town Cricket Club has been bowled over by a generous donation from accountants Princecroft Willis (PcW).
The firm, which celebrates its centenary this year, has paid for 100 cricket balls.
They will be used by the club’s thriving youth section which coaches more than 100 youngsters aged from four upwards.
James Robinson, a PcW Partner who also manages the club’s Under 15s’ team, said: “Sport, and particularly cricket, is a great way of developing teamwork and social skills.
“Princecroft Willis is pleased and proud to support a number of initiatives involving young people, including Young Enterprise and Poole Town Cricket Club.”
Badrul Alam, Head Coach, described the PcW donation as “Very welcome.”
He added: “Cricket is now all year round thanks to Poole Town Cricket Club’s winter indoor and summer outdoor leagues.
“We’re very grateful to Princecroft Willis for so generously paying for the 100 cricket balls and congratulate the firm on reaching its unbeaten century.”
