Cyclist seriously injured in Southbourne collision
Police are appealing for dashcam footage following the collision between a yellow Fiat Panda hatchback and a cyclist in Corhampton Road.
A teenage cyclist received serious injuries when he was in collision with a yellow Fiat Panda hatchback in Corhampton Road, Southbourne on Monday 22 January.
The police received the report at 2.37pm and subsequently the young cyclist was taken to hospital.
Police sergeant Gareth Thomas, of the traffic unit, said: “A road closure remained in place for several hours while officers investigated the collision and I would like to thank members of the public for their patience during this time.
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or the manner of driving of the vehicles involved in the moments leading up to the collision, to please come forward.
“Also, I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage from Christchurch Road from around 2pm to 2.40pm on Monday 22 January.”
