Around 50 places are still available for a charity race night in Blandford hosted by legal firm Blanchards Bailey for Age UK.
Around 50 places are still available for a charity race night hosted by legal firm Blanchards Bailey to raise funds for Age UK (Dorchester). Being held in the stunning settings of Bryanston School in Blandford this October, the race night like no other promises to be a fun evening .
An evening of live entertainment awaits on 26 October, when two cyclists will go head-to-head in static bike race heats, providing all the familiarity of a great race night with the twist that the races will be happening live in front of you.
People can cheer on their favourite riders, even take part and place bets at the on-site bookies. Places to take part are limited so do get in contact as soon as possible to secure your place.
Paul Dunlop, principal at Blanchards Bailey and championing the event said, “This event is different and will be great fun for all attending. Cyclists can be seasoned pros, casual cyclists like me, or non-cyclists who would like an opportunity to record a time and join in. The spectators will be key to the event’s success and do not have to be interested in cycling or understand any rules or regulations to bet, support and enjoy the evening’s atmosphere. We wanted to take the opportunity to raise funds for our charity of the year while putting on a great night of entertainment for all ages.”
A hot evening meal is included in the ticket price, with a cash bar available on the night. Tickets are £25 each or £200 for a table of ten.
