Deacons Boatyard on River Hamble sold to Dean & Reddyhoff
South coast marina operator, Dean & Reddyhoff Ltd, has announced the purchase of Solent based Deacons Boatyard and Marina from Guernsey-based Fuller Group.
Deacons Boatyard with 130 marina berths and a full-service yard for 150 boats ashore on the river Hamble has been bought by the Dean & Reddyhoff marina network which also has 1500 berths at Haslar, East Cowes, Portland and Weymouth marinas.
Dean & Reddyhoff, managing director, Michael Prideaux, said, “Under the ownership of the Fuller Group, Deacons Boatyard and Marina has thrived and is one of the premier marinas on the Solent. Under our ownership we will continue to develop the facilities and build on the respected reputation and heritage that the Deacons marina has.”
It already offers services to Dean & Reddyhoff berth-holders, and from April Deacons annual berth holders will also receive the same benefits as all other Dean & Reddyhoff berth holders. These include 21 free overnight visits to group marinas, marina restaurant discounts and free Southampton Boat Show tickets.
