The remains of Dorset woman Isobel Munro, who was reported missing in April 2016 were found on Tuesday 29 November 2016 in woodland in Long Meadow, Barton-on-Sea in Hampshire.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Her family said: “Our worst fears are now reality. Our loving and caring Isi has left us. She is now with her Daddy, where she can rest in peace. Our family would like to thank you all for your kind wishes. We also wish to thank all those who helped, supported, and searched while Isi was missing. We especially recognise the work, care and professionalism shown to us by Dorset and Hampshire Police.”
Hampshire Police, who have been investigating Isobel Munro’s death, are preparing a file to be submitted to HM Coroner.
