The Absolutely WI Divas were in full voice on Tuesday evening when they sang to residents of Moretons, one of the two Abbeyfield Houses in Ferndown. The theme was love and marriage and the Divas had prepared songs to illustrate the waiting (‘Blue Moon’), the meeting (‘A Nightingale Sang In Berkley Square’), the falling in love (‘You Light Up My Life’), the wedding (‘Get Me To The Church On Time’), or not! (‘Waiting At The Church’), and the wonderful relaxed times a couple will spend together (‘Cruising Down The River’). Everyone sang along to these and other songs and the Divas were delighted to receive a box of chocolates each as a parting gift. They are looking forward to returning to Moretons, Westbourne House, and Harleston House in Wimborne to sing Christmas songs and carols early in December.
