Diverse Abilities to hold carol concert in Bournemouth
By attending this carol concert, you’ll not only be entertained but help fundraise for a local charity supporting people with disabilities in Dorset.
The annual Christmas carol concert hosted by Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, will be held this year at St Peter’s Church, Bournemouth, on 13 December.
The evening will be compered by Blair Crawford, founder and president of Hope FM, and supported by Colten Care and will feature festive performances from choir Sound of Soul and classical-crossover soprano Poppy Neame.
There will also be performances by Razzamataz Bournemouth, a theatre school for ages four to 18 specialising in musical theatre, and Canford Heath Junior School will be singing some Christmas favourites.
CEO at Colten Care, Mark Aitchison, said: “Colten Care is proud to support the Diverse Abilities carol concert for another year. Our residents’ choir, made up of singers from various homes, are excited to join in and be part of the night.”
Events executive at Diverse Abilities, Demi Tarrant, said: “We are really looking forward to getting into the festive spirit with a fantastic range of performers and speakers. We’d love people to come along with their friends and family for a fantastic evening whilst supporting children and adults with disabilities in Dorset.”
Doors open at 6pm. Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for children aged 11-16 years or free for children under 10. Alternatively, a family ticket can be purchased for £28, with all funds raised going to Diverse Abilities.
