There is still time to catch the colourful exhibition currently showing at the Hayloft Gallery 14 Wick Lane, Christchurch, which finishes on 5 September.
This varied exhibition showcases work from local artists Susan Knights, Linda Patterson, Ann Davison and Brenda Weeks and includes paintings, textiles, jewellery and cards.
Sue is a member of the national Society of Floral Painters and enjoys painting impressionistic flowers, landscapes and seascapes in a loose, exciting, expressive and atmospheric way. She also produces abstracted works.
Linda works in most mediums and includes a variety of subject matter. She has a love of the natural world, painting many landscapes. These are emotive and derived from observed subject matter. Colour is an important element in her work.
Brenda produces mixed media textile panels in a quirky style together with accessories such as jewellery and bags while Ann’s individual jewellery is created from semi-precious stones.
Prices are very affordable ranging from £5 to £500 with cards priced from £1.
The exhibition is open every day until 5pm and entry is free.
