A new Dog Café service for pampered pooches who fancy a snack and drink whilst out with their owners has been launched by pet store chain PamPurredPets. Staff at the company’s high street and retail park stores in southern England and south wales, including Poole, Bournemouth, Ferndown and Ringwood will offer free samples of food and treats to visiting dogs as well as offer a bowl of water.
Steve Fowler, who founded PamPurredPets in 1981 and has always been a dog owner, said that he hoped that the free service would prove a popular pit stop.
“We hope that we can make a dog’s trip to the high street more pleasant – and there is no need to book a table!” said Steve. “A drink of water after a walk is important to a dog any time of year and the reward of a tasty treat is rarely refused! We hope owners may wish to make a small donation to Waggy Tails, the dog rescue centre we support, whilst they visit.”
The stores will frequently allow the four legged visitors to taste new food choices introduced to an ever expanding range of healthy dog dishes.
