The crowds flocked in their droves to West Moors annual Fun Day on Sunday, 13 July.
With over 50 stalls, dog shows, tractor rides and arena events taking part at Sturts Farm there was much to see and do for the whole family.
Live entertainment, children’s entertainment, a bar, hog roast and a plentiful supply of sandwiches and ice creams ensured everyone was catered for.
The committee, chaired by Lou Dunne had worked tirelessly to ensure the day went smoothly and Chairman of West Moors Parish Council, Cllr Pete Holden, who attended the event said, “It’s bigger and better than last year and a nice place. It’s very successful, I congratulate the organisers.”
Cllr Penny Yeo added, “It’s really good to see so many people here. A good family event.”
mags4dorset raised £100 for Green Cottage RDA at their tombola stand, which was so popular, the prizes ran out before the end of the day. There was also a free draw for anyone entering the tombola for an Asus Memo Pad. This was won by David Clark from Bransgore whose dog, Inca, took part in one of the arena events.
